First time I came here was for a company event about 2 years ago. I recently stopped in for lunch and nothing has changed. Still one of the greatest! The steak was juicy, tender and loaded with flavor. Texture of mash potatoes was spectacular. Wine paired perfectly. My 2nd visit was for a quick lunch. I ordered the seared salmon complete perfection and perfect presentation.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I had a shockingly bad service and food while out to celebrate a special night. Our waiter was barely around and all of our used food stayed at end of our table for over ten minutes before having to ask a random waiter to please take it (apps, bread, spare plates etc). They delivered our steaks with no knifes and we weren’t able to get them for five plus minutes. The MR steak I ordered was nearly purple... which has never happen even at an outback. Over half of the noodles on the lobster Mac n cheese were rock hard and a dish we were looking forward to ended up being hard to even choke down. The steak was nothing special. I didn’t even finish a quarter of the food because it was so bad (I eat everything). While trying to enjoy the dinner there was someone in a near booth watching a video with no headphones on for several minutes. Several people there wearing sweatshirts. Overall not impressed and very disappointed as I was so excited to try Capital Grille for the first time. We are in our 20s so I’m not sure if they gave us bad service assuming we were too young to tip well (?) which is never the case for us but I definitely do not recommend this location at all.
Absolutely amazing experience there for our anniversary dinner over the weekend. Walked in and the woman at the front greeted us and wanted to make sure I was well accommodated since I am pregnant. The table was decorated with confetti and everyone who came to our table greeted us with a happy anniversary. The service was impeccable, the food cooked to perfection. I will say that although everything was amazing there was a horrible group of people seated at the table across from our booth that could have ruined the experience if we had let them. They taunted staff and were extremely rude and disrespectful to staff and diners. When asked to leave for being disruptive they taunted and name called staff. For those staff members I wish to apologize because they did not deserve that disrespect and I would like to commend you all on your composure during that time. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
Went on a date night with my friends, this place was great. We ordered bottles to the table and instead of the waitress give us a bucket with ice for the wine she kept going instead to get the wine. Overall it was a nice restaurant
Good to be back. As always, the food was great and the service impeccable. Looking forward to the next visit. I was glad to see a lot of fellow diners. All COVID protocols scrupulously observed.
