Hands down the BEST pizza in Queens! I've been coming here since I was in High School (10+ years) and it has not changed. You won't regret it especially if like like your pizza on the thin side.
On February 9, 2021, an order was placed to Lucia Pizza on Roosevelt Ave in Queens NY for 2 orders of hot wings, 2 slices of pizza and an order of Garlic Knots. The order, according to the person who answered the phone, came to $7 and change. The person on the phone then said “ we require a $10 minimum for delivery. An extra order of wings was then added. The amount came to $10.75. The person on the phone said the order would take approximately 50 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes to be delivered which was fine. The food was ultimately delivered fairly quickly, which I was pleased about initially. After paying the delivery person the amount of the order plus a $5 tip, I put the food down in the kitchen for about 5 minutes. Upon opening the box, I realized that the 2 slices of pizza were missing from the order, which wasn’t a big deal until a phone call was placed to Lucia Pizza to advise them of the misstep. The person on the phone VEHEMENTLY disputed the initial order. So much so, that he became belligerent and condescending on the phone disputing what order was placed. At this point , we are both talking at each other trying to make our own points. The person on the phone proceeds to be disrespectful and rude and eventually hangs the phone up on me. I didn’t bother calling back because it’s not a loss for me because I’ve never eaten from this place before this day and never will again. However, my friends do but won’t anymore from this day on. Customer service is or at least should be paramount, especially during these times and to be handled disrespectfully by anyone who’s in the food service industry making minimum wage is offensive and intolerable. If you can’t handle an “irate or unhappy “ customer venting about an INCORRECTLY TAKEN ORDER, you should try filling out applications for a different line of work because you sir are very thin skinned and fragile, therefore u obviously “break easy”
If your any where near lucia pizza on Roosevelt ave. across from Macy's, must try. You will thank me later. New York style. Enjoy : )
been ordering here for a very long time. excellent pizza everytime! The staff is always incredibly friendly, pizza is always fresh and delicious. It’s perfect here. Lucia’s Pizza will always be my number one pizza place!
Definitely one of the best pizza joints in the city. I only have 5 on my list and they’ve made it. I love the tangy sauce and thin crust.
