The food was good but not the service. We were waiting in the line before the open time and got a seat right in front of the door which made our food freeze in no second. We could only the first slice warm but not the rest. We asked if we could move the seat since there were a few more tables available but the manager kept saying NO. They never asked if the food was okay or if we need anything. I really didn't want to pay any tip for the service at all.
If you are in Dumbo , must try out their pizza.
Usually good but this time the pizza was cold and the spinach was old.
Best Pizza I've ever had. Would love to see more Grimaldi's Pizzerias opened up more around Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Servers are great, not pushy and just plain, not the kind to stop by every minute while you are trying to eat, because if you can't tell from my eyes that I need help, then you are not the best waiter you can be. Parking is terrible around the area so I suggest the Train, Taxi or Bike over if you can. OK if you don't mind parking a few blocks away or paying for indoor parking.
Definitely some really good pizza. Not New York best. But i liked it more for being part of the history and culture. You enter into a building that has a backdrop of brooklyn bridge. Its iconic. Our wine glass was billed a dollar more than menu price. We informed the server and he credited it back.
