Stumbled upon this shop because I need to find a restroom. It's a really dope open kitchen style brink oven Pizzeria. Made to order mini and large pies. With a nice assortment of toppings. All the toppings were fresh a d delicious especially the pepperoni and olives (which what we had). Next time I would ask them to bake for shorter time as the crust was tough for the children to eat. Brick over pizza had a tougher texture. Great to me but less so for the kids.
Enjoyed a vegetable pizza today from this establishment. The rest of the family also chowed down on a meat lovers' delight. Was surprised to see how the slices were cut. My sister-in-law from Chicago loved it. She said it reminded her of pizza when she was growing up. Don't care how it was sliced, the taste was amazing. So fresh and full of flavor!
I hate to leave a negative review during these turbulent times but this was just too bad an experience not to share. Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Two pies, Large Margarita and a Medium Tomato Pie. Was delivered quickly and still hot. Shockingly the Margarita had a large piece of sharp glass that had been baked in to the cheese. In the attached picture you can even see the char on the glass from the pizza oven. Called the restaurant who offered to replace the pizzas and thought it was "really weird" that there was glass in the pizza. They advised I call DoorDash to reprocess the order. I did so and they processed it only to receive a call that the order had been rejected by the restaurant. I don't doubt this was an accident but it demonstrates a serious lack of quality control and food safety. I also thought they could have exhibited more concern about me biting into the glass (which I did) then mystification over how it might have gotten there. Thank goodness my toddler didn't get to that slice first! Reported to Westchester County Department of Health for investigation.
ALERT: I must warn you to call ahead to confirm they have clams, cause you are going for the clam pizza, right? Well, if not, you will not be disappointed. Frank makes some really really seriously good pizza. You must get here now! I'll make a trip across the NJ border soon to get my hands and mouth on that clam pizza. I refuse to give 5 stars until I get what everyone else raves about. Don't recall the exact names, but (something like) the original tomato pie and the meat pie are awesome!
